The Code isn’t a number you carry. It’s your biology.
Because the word can sound like something you redeem elsewhere, here is exactly what it does and does not mean at CVK.
It describes your biology, not a reference number
Your Code is the pattern your body gives you: your history, your symptoms, and — where your plan includes it — the biomarkers in your blood. Two patients with the same complaint rarely have the same Code.
You are never asked to take it somewhere else
There is no access code, voucher, or requisition number to redeem, and nothing is sent away with you. Any laboratory testing included in your plan is arranged as part of that plan.
CVK coordinates the steps
Your provider builds your Code during your consultation. If testing is part of your plan, CVK arranges it, your provider reviews the results, and you discuss what they mean together.

You meet your provider by secure video and talk through your history, symptoms and goals.

Your history, current medications, and any laboratory results or records you shared are reviewed together.

Where testing is part of the service you selected, your provider confirms what is included and how it will be arranged.

You complete any applicable testing
Testing is completed after your pre-lab consultation. Consultations that do not include testing skip this step.

Your provider reviews your results together, rather than one value at a time.

A post-lab consultation takes place, where included

Your provider completes their assessment, arranges any testing your plan includes, and gives you recommendations in writing. Ongoing patient care coordination with a CVK expert specialist is included. The full sequence is set out in What Happens After Your Consultation.
CVK Signature, Men's Health and Women's Health include laboratory testing as specified in the selected plan, plus a post-lab consultation. The other consultations do not include laboratory testing.
It is a one-time payment. Your purchase covers the selected consultation or service. There is no recurring membership subscription implied and no automatic renewal.
Plans that include laboratory testing (CVK Signature, Men's Health, Women's Health) allow one rescheduling. Consultations below $200, including the $149 General Consultation, cannot be rescheduled.
